Damn cork!

Just poured another bottle of wine down the drain because of a corked wine.
I have yet to pour a bottle of wine down the drain that had a screw cap.
No leakage, no loss of quality of any sort.
Why are we still living in the dark ages with wine closure. We have science that works.
