Just picked up a bottle of le jaja de jau syrah 2008 at my local Whole Foods tonight on a whim. At $8.99 a bottle its a good everyday wine with a good QPR. A bit rustic, but honest and not pretentious, yet enjoyable. Nice balance. Not one of the overblown California fruit bombs. I'm gonna get some more...
