Hi Y'all, I don't hang here much, but thought I might get some guidance. My 82 year old father is a real photography buff, but unfortunatly his health prevents him from using the gear he has accumulated. I've agreed to sell it piece by piece for him online, but don't know the best venue. Most is Nikon, and he was meticulous in caring for it.(you know...litte old man who only used it on Sundays...) Your suggestions are much appreciated.PJ

You might also try the classifieds on the photo equivalent of this sight, photo.net. Looks like it moves a lot of Nikon and Canon stuff.
!
I've just purchased a Nikon F3 at the "photogon.com" site. The site is newish, and not very active yet, but is certainly cost effective.
My 'pro' friends use this to sell/buy their stuff
If you sell it yourself you will get much more for it. Used to work in the used photo biz. (That is what unemployed photogs do) Only going to give you about 60% of market value at places like KEH or anybody in the biz. That figure could go up or down depending on the demand for the particular items. Policy at our store was not to add in for even nice filters and small accy's. For price guide, pick up a Shutterbug mag on news stands.
