This looks interesting, but I'm not sure if I want to sink $100 into one just for kicks...

I've always had a soft spot for toy cameras, so I was psyched to get one. They sent it to me for evaluation, though. I didn't have to pay for it. That said, I have had fun with it. Most of my photography is pretty technical so I don't use it much. But when I plan and get ni the spirit of it, it's pretty cool. I've found shooting in full auto works best. It doesn't lend itself to any kind of manual fiddling. Here's a link to the Toy Camera gallery on my site where you'll find a couple of my LensBabies images: John's LensBabies Photos > >
You don't need the Lensbabies to get the same results. If you have an enlarger lens, you can make your own.
