From Theater or film, something you can recommand? That is particulary interresting, of course.
I recently read Hepburn ( kate ) from Berg, was quite amusing.
Follow Ups:
his bios of Goldwyn and Max Perkins are both fantastic. Kate, I thought, was over-indulgent. But they were friends, so it's forgivable.
Jeff
I enjoyed the one on Ingrid Bergman.
Patrick,If you haven't already, try John Huston's autobio...highly suspect as to the accuracy of his version of his adventures, but quite fun if you are a fan...I believe over in the film forum you mentioned enjoying the Eastwood film White Hunter...I think you'll love the book.
On a personal note, I just scored a first edition of Straight Life, Art Pepper's autobio...this is a bit hard to find (OOP?), and a great read for jazz fans.
Regards,
Thank you, but already done! In fact this book and a bio. He was one of the last real macho man, but one who did not spare his own life in adventures, too bad that he did the same for others around him...
I am reading at the moment David Lean bio, an enormous book.
