...NY Eve is my wife's birthday and this was a big one.

She loves champagne so I bought her a bottle of 2004 Piper Heidsieck, probably the best bottle we've had, but saved it for another time.

We started off with a bottle of Roederer L'Ermitage.

Then we met 4 couples for cocktails and had 3 more bottles of Reoderer Estate.

Then dinner with wine and fireworks over the SF Ferry Building and the Bay at midnight.
