I would recommend to the 1997 vintage. A lesser vintage all around, but all that means is that the better wines are drinking well early.

I didn't read whatever posts to which you refer, but I wonder why a '96 to drink this season? Lesser wines are ready, better wines should still be held.I would recommend to the 1997 vintage. A lesser vintage all around, but all that means is that the better wines are drinking well early.
