Nice selection SB, amazing what Muga's can pack into a bottle for relatively inexpensive wime. I am also familiar with the '85 Beaucastle, haven't had it in two years, but should be drinking nicely.

The isabele is from New Zealand, pretty certain it's from marlborough. Same crisp, no oak, tons of fruit taste that you can get from many other sav blanc from that region. delicious.

The Leroy Pommard, another value play shines if for no other reason than the fact that there is still fruit and plenty of it-great color as well. Not too many other burgundies from that vintage that you would even want to drink anymore. The fact that she gets such low yield per acre results in wines that last forever and drink much much much better with age. That's not to say that I wouldn't prefer the '96 comte de vogue more than the old pommard, rather, I was impressed with how accessible the pommard remained.
