Parcé's Collioure costs more than theirs (in some examples in some markets) because Parcé has been making good wine for a long time and Pietri-Geraud hasn't. End of story.Even now, Pietri-Geraud turns out more oxidative examples than is strictly advisable. I'll be the first to point out that Piloums or Jonquets '96 sucks for its higher-than-ever price. OTOH, Pietri-Geraud has never made something like Clos du Moulin '93.
Leroy is a different issue entirely. You can buy a case of any Parcé you like best and throw in some Pietri-Geraud for the price of a bottle of Leroy Musigny. As for why the wine is so expensive, it's because Lalou has bigger balls than anyone else in Burgundy.
Sharpshooters don't give a damn about vine treatments, BTW. If they did, California would have no problems with Pierce's disease.
