I'll be trying a bottle of Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma County 2007 this year. It seems to be temporarily in short supply as it was rated #10 on the Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2008 list.

Another nice one to try is the Seth Kunin Pape Star 2005 which is a Central Coast Rhone style blend. I found it at my local Whole Foods.

The Prisoner, a Zinfandel blend, is another nice choice. I've tried both the 2005 and 2006 but not the current 2007 release. Along the same line is The Phantom from Bogle. Similar style, but priced about $20.00 per bottle.

A nice inexpensive everyday drinking red that I like is the Domaine Famille Ligneres La Baronne Rouge 2003 which is a Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre blend.
