portable gear for remote area
Posted by tatanua on October 12, 2006 at 18:21:57:
I am working on a book about ritual art in a remote part of the world. Much of the content will be illustration and i am curious how best to shoot wooden objects with aesthetically pleasing, artistic studio type lighting. and a black background, in mountain villages. I should have access to electricity via drop cords, but what is a recommendation for economical and lightweight portable lighting? Is this even a realistic proposal? I will need to lug the kit around with me so compactness and portability are essential.
Does anyone here have suggestions or can you point me in the right direction? Thanks
