There have been serious rumors circulating. I am expecting something to be announced this fall, before the PhotoPlus Expo. However, if you feel the EOS 20D is going to suit you, I'd just go ahead and buy it. It's an excellent camera and it's a mistake to get caught in that trap of always waiting for the next thing. On the other hand, if the 20D will do the job, you might want to wait for the price to drop.
