I use PS professionally, have since '93. So I can't say how easy it is to learn for a beginner.

However it is the defacto post processing champ. Local Adult Ed classes abound at night & high schools. Inwhich to gain knowledge.

You're on your own with Jasc or others, unless you have a friend using it.

$59. is a great price, it's usally $99. for 90% of what PS CS does.
