I will have to take a look. Not sure if this "porro" viewfinder would bother me or not. Likely not. I also think the D100 is faster but I could be wrong here.
The extra weight of the D100 really doesn't bother me because the D70 is not exactly light. $500?? Well that may have some say in this. Hard to say at this point.
