ok guys, if you could suffer me one more old Leica Q; what lenses for a IIIf ?

Posted by bean on March 17, 2004 at 20:43:43:

Ok, so I now have a place (or two) to get my father's 2 Leica IIIf bodies fixed.

I know his dream has always been to have the 2 bodies, one with a "standard" lense (he has a 50mm 1:2 Summitar), the other mainly for a telephoto, but also to swap out occaisionally for a wide-angle lense.

What telephoto and wide-angle lenses fit the IIIf? I would LOVE to get ahold of them an surprise him before he and my mom take thier once-in-a-lifetime Alaska cruise in May.

Knock-offs might be ok, but I would like to stay with Leica lenses, if possible.

Thanks!
