1994 vintage Woodbridge Portacino

Posted by hpk on April 8, 2004 at 09:39:28:

Curious if anyone has sampled a bottle of this Califorina Port? I came across the last 6 bottles available locally. I am curious if this will stand aging for 15-20 years? I am not sure if all Portacino ports are actually labelled as vintage, I do know that 1994 was declared vintage in Portugual.

I have done some web searches but no specific information with respect to potential aging was mentioned. It appears that this Mondavi product was produced in limited qualties with a blend of five old world potuguese grapes and separately aged in oak for two years.

I suppose I could open a bottle now and see how it is doing.

Any comments would be appreciated.
