I have built boats with my children for years. I find that it is easy to build a boat using 4x4 ply wood. If you will write or call me I will give you a plan and share info with you. My youngest child is 12 and we plan on building a small paddle boat this summer. I like one that is car top light and safe. Have a great day, Chief Redelk 318-377-6324
