A car motor is rather differentfrom a marine engine. I have a capri 24 footer with a chev 350ci V8 The main difference is in the cooling system. Mine has a set of heat exchangers on the motor which cool the coolant. the engine coolant is circulated through a closed system within the block and then through the heat exchangers. the exchangers pump cold water continuously in and out of the boat. with the coolant flowing through these in enclosed pipes. the lake water cools the exchangers which in turn cool the coolant. The coolant is contained in a tank. On a boat of this size whynot install a marine V6 I donot know where you are But I do know that a regular marine set up is less expensive and easier to do than trying to convert an auto engine to marine use.
