I looked at the bench seat which is tied to the grabline. I intend making something similar to that. But I wonder how 'fixed' its gonna be if its simply tied down. I don't have a motor on my boat yet, so I need something thats really fixed while I row(actually, I'm new to boating and rowing too, and still not very good at it. If anyone has links on how to row a small boat efficiently I'd appreciate that too as I was stuck in the middle of a windy lake surface for nearly an hour last weekend. Was tempted to leave the boat there and swim back to shore)
And regarding information about the Seahawk, you're absolutely correct. There's little or no information about it online. We really should start a forum for this. I really needed a slightly bigger boat. But I just went by one post on this forum which said that the Seahawk 500 punctured easily. I wrote to another person on this forum who said he was thinking of buying the 400 sport. He said he had bought one and was quite happy with it, so I went for that model.
