He called me up and asked if I could solder the ends on some new speaker cable he bought. So, I told him only if he brought his new 645 along so I could look at it. So we both spent some time playing with it. It was new to him so he wanted to take as many rolls as possible just to get familiar with it. I couldn't believe how solid it felt. I still prefer the square format though, and I wonder why they are using Fuji lens instead of the Zeiss. And, why the little pop-up flash just like a little point-and-shoot or a little digital camera??? But, the auto-focus seemed to be extreamly fast, and since most of his photo-work is spontanious and unposed, I guess this is what he felt he had to have.
