Stores keep them stored so badly in the heat of wharehouses , on trucks.By the time they reach the customer to take home can be many months of their useful life wasted.
Moderm electronic cameras, might as well just become a paperweight, without their exotic battery types. I buy only cameras that take the dominate worldwide AA alkaline or rechargeable AA cells.
