The Opton lens was made by Carl Zeiss after the 2nd world war, up to 1953, in Oberkochen. It is a standard 4 element Tessar, designed by Rudolph at the turn of the century. Zeiss could not call it a Tessar, as the East German Zeiss factory had control of the name.
It should be and excellent performer. I don't know if the speeds can be set between the marks.
