My questions are of a technical nature, regarding the interface. I'm awaiting delivery of one of these units, and have been told it is equipped with the GPIB interface. I have looked on the web extensively, and the mention of the GPIB is quite rare. Most are SCSI devices instead.I'm curious if the actual scanner unit has both interfaces- I saw one reference to this possibility.
My concern is the fact that the included GPIB card appears to be an ISA device, and none of my 4 computers has an ISA slot to accomodate it. I have PCI SCSI cards on hand for my Kodak 2035+ and would be very happy if they could be used instead.
Thanks!
Tim
