M6 far easier to use with a variety of lenses as the rangefinder framing lines change to show the framing field of view of the lens. M5 has fixed framing lines and you sort of have to guess the actual framing - but, that can be fun too as you get some suprises (some good, some not so good).Pros would choose the M6 or M7 over the Contax unless it was in a "throw away" situation (you could lose the camera). Contax is a nice camera has good lenses doesn't have the "beef" that the Leica does to hold up in daily heavy use, and wider range of lenses available. Either will make wonderful pictures if the photographer can make wonderful pictures. Suggest the photographer is the weak point in the photo chain - not the camera.
