A shot for sales ought to be in the 640x480 range in terms of pixels.Anything much biggerw ill be 'majorly annoying' to load, and you can probably, with a good jpeg encoder, get that down to under 50k.
So, any camera that does 1280x1024 should give you that after a reduce by 2 and an unsharp mask, followed by a jpeg at level 4 or so (of 10).
That, perhaps with some saturation increase ^U in Photoshop/LE, or some colour balance ^B if needed, should do very well.
