Re: Canon dig. Rebel...take FD lenses?

All the Canon digital SLRs use Canon EF (autofocus) lenses. The new Rebel digital also can use the new series of EF-S lenses with a short backfocus, but no other Canon digitals or film AF cameras can use them due to mirror interference. All the Nikon digital SLRs use Nikkor AF lenses, and the pro models have the coupling to use AI and AIS lenses as well (except the 100D). The Fuji S1 and S2 Pro and the new Kodak are built on Nikon N80 bodies and use Nikkor AF lenses, but have no meter coupling for the AI and AIS lenses. The Sigma digital SLR uses the same lenses as the Sigma AF SLR and I think the Contax digital uses Contax AF lenses. When it's finally, really available, the Pentax digital "*ist" (sorry, that's the name, *ist) will use Pentax AF lenses and suppposedly can use Pentax manual focus lenses as well.
