For years I have shot with manual focus minolta, x-700s. I went on a trip a few yrs ago with the x-700 and also took a 7000i which I found myself using more than the trusted x700. Apart from some hunting for focus I enjoyed the AF. I added another AF minolta (450si) and thought I was set. Well, I ended up picking up an EOS 630 with 50mm metal mount lens for 100 bucks. Sold the lens and paid for both. I LOVE the big viewfinder and the features of this camera enough that I sold all my minolta gear and grabbed an ELAN II. So now I have the 630 with a sigma 28-105(i bought new about a month ago) and the elan II with a 28-105USM (metal mount). I should be happy, right? I am, what should my next lens be? mostly outdoor shots, nature. I'm new to the EOS line. Should I look for an older metal mount or buy the cheaper newer lenses??
