re: Affixing a copyright notice here in the land of the Lawsuits-USA is essential. i. e. on the photo or somewhere in the body of your post.Ask yourself "how would you feel if after posting on the internet, you later see someone else benefitting from ilegal use of freely using those pics in an advert" With you receiving Nada for your efforts.
U.S. Courts have ruled up to $1,500.00 for the owner, if your image was stolen and you have proof of a © notice.
