The other night I was watching EGG on public TV. This program feature different areas of the visual arts. One person they were featureing was making some very interesting photographs from pinhole cameras he had made. He was making them from just about anything he could find, not just tin cans and boxes but shoes, potatoes, pumpkins, closet doors, and even refrigerators. Then going through Google Search I find that you can buy a pinhole camera for almost as much as an uppity Leica or your latest flavor-of-the-month faddish digital. I bet you could have a more exciting and fulfilling adventure into photography if you made your own pinhole camera, just like the excitment of DIY audio.
