Identifying (version of) Leica III??

I have a Leica III, S.N. 474309. Looks very close to pics I've seen of IIIf's, but with a couple of minor differences--I think it might be a IIIc? Mine has chrome finish. Also seeking info on the lens: It is marked Summitar f=5cm 1:2 S.N. 734815 (& Ernst Leitz-Wetzlar). I have some pics of the camera also.
Am also seeking an affordable, available book on Leica III's--including basic operation. Thanks in advance for any advice!
