I'm looking for the cheapest possible digital camera for basic pictures. I'm no photographer but I'd like something reliable and is easy to use while taking reasonably good quality photos. My max budget is $250.00Cdn but I really don't want to spend that much. The two max budget ones I've seen are the Sony DSP32 which seems to do the most and the other is the Canon A60 which I'd have to haggle to get them to $250.00. The Sony has no zoom but it has a rechargeable battery - while the Canon seems to be looked upon as a more serious camera but very poor batter life and 2.0 mega not 3.2 like the Sony. Then there is really cheap ones like the Kodak 4330 for $119.00Cdn. And maybe the Nikon Coolpix range has something cheap too. I hate relying on the store sales staff because they'll try and convince me to get a more expensive model with stuff I don't need.
I'm trying to find Nikon around here but they seem toough to find - I thought they were one of the kings of camera's.
Thanks
