Re: Bold Eagle- info please

Sure did, my son in law has it now. Mine was the weatherproofed T4 Super. Same lens as far as I know. Nice camera. Took some fine shots with it. I also own an Olympus Stylus Epic and the Pentax UC-1 (mine's the European Espio Mini, same camera in black). All three of these made editor's picks in Popular Photography a few years back. I found the T4 Super used for a very good price and had heard much about it so I scratched an itch and brought it home.

The T4's the biggest, the Espio is the widest at 32 mm and with the best flash, and the Stylus Epic is the best for outdoor shots, they just pop off the page. I thought the T4 was slightly underexposed looking, but mine was used and a little beat up. The Epic's flash is pretty hot at the center, not all that good for people shots. The Espio Mini has very uniform flash and overall a warm look. Very nice for indoor stuff with the wider view it has. I ended up carrying the Epic and the Espio on vacation trips. One for indoor shots, parties, dinners, etc. and the Epic for outdoor and available light since it was smaller, more rounded and weatherproof. With those other two, and it being bigger; I didn't use the T4 all that much and so Tim got it. I mean I only had 3 or 4 other P&S cameras. All with zoom lenses.

Now I'm doing digital and I still have a drawer full of P&S's and 2 film SLR's.

Jerry
