Monitor calibration

If the print doesn't match the image on the screen - then you need to calibrate the monitor, and then you need to setup the color space for the printer and the image editing software.

If your monitor is not calibrated, printing is pretty much a crapshoot as you end up adjusting the color in the image & trying to guess the output.

As you're seeing, ink + paper = money. Money spent on color calibration software and hardware is very quickly paid back. Look at the Colorvision website to see what they have - www.colorvision.com
