Since you do not state your intended needs of most wanted features and you want price to be your guide. Just pick out any $200.00 plus camera and use it till you define your greater needs from a digital.

Most people are happiest with the various Nikons ,or Olympus, Sony models. I'm only speaking as a Photojournalist in So. FL with a Five thousand $ Nikon.
