Anybody have any recommendations? I have a ton[ne]of old negatives and slides which I would like to convert to digital. I also have a bunch of 6x6 negs but figure for the $1000 extra for a scanner which will accept those I'll either use my Epson 4180 flatbed scanner or get them done professionally. My ultimate goal is to make large digital negatives to contact print gum and platinum prints so quality is important.

I am considering the Nikon Coolscan 4000 or 5000, the Canoscan FS4000 or the Minolta 5400 II.

Anything I should be looking at to help me determine the right scanner?
