Any Rolleiflex fans out there? I'm trying to figure out my camera's age. The lens is a Zeiss-Opton Nr 79044 Tessar f3.5 75mm. It says Compur-Rapid between the shutter speed dial & aperture dial. There is a flash sync but it does not have an X. Shutter speeds are B, 1, 1/2/ 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 100, 1/250 & 1/500. Also can I shoot with the shutter speed between speeds? Thank you in advance.

Well...you could shoot between speeds but the speeds will not be accurate. So the answer is no ,don't shoot between speeds. Compensate with the F-stop.
If you want a more technical reponse ask and I will respond. I specialize in medium format equipment repair.
The Opton lens was made by Carl Zeiss after the 2nd world war, up to 1953, in Oberkochen. It is a standard 4 element Tessar, designed by Rudolph at the turn of the century. Zeiss could not call it a Tessar, as the East German Zeiss factory had control of the name.
It should be and excellent performer. I don't know if the speeds can be set between the marks.
