Although a tenured member of the asylum, this is my first post in this forum--- and of course it consitutes a request for information. Is there any way to tranfer jpegs from my computer's hard drive to the card in my Nikon Coolpix 4300?
I download images from the 4300 to my computer using the USB interface connector. Just wondering if I can reverse the process.
My ultimate objective: Since I can use the video out jack on the 4300 to view images on my television, I'd like to download past images from my computer to the camera so that I can view those on the TV monior as well.
Thanks!

my laptop recognized the flash card on the Nikon as a removeable disk...so I can transfer photo's in a least 2 way..first with the transfer program provide by NIkon but secondly with the explorer...I ASSUME that it would be just as easy to put photo's on the drive as it to take em off the drive..
Explorer does indeed treat the Nikon as a drive. I can drag and drop images from the Nikon. However, Explorer will not allow me to paste files onto the Nikon drive. I gather that the system is treating the Nikon drive as read-only, although I don't know why, since the card is clearly writable. In fact the jack on the Nikon says "Digital I/O" which I 'presume' means INPUT/output [emphasis added].
I could spring for a card reader since cost is not an issue. But I really do not want another plug-in device cluttering up my workstation.
