more like the current Corolla than anything else. The rear, especially the taillight treatment, looks like it was simply lifted from the Japanese car.
And that grotesque front end...at least it wasn't "borrowed".Anyway, the car was most likely designed for the U.S. market--Europeans have never bought the Jetta in appreciable numbers, preferring the Golf overwhelmingly.
The new Jetta is being built in Mexico.
