I see these designations for printer size output capabilities bandied about freely as if everyone understands what they mean, and I haven't seen them explained even in the glossary of the "Dummy" book. Can someone explain what inch sizes A3, "super A3," A4, etc. are equal to?
Follow Ups:
In Europe the metric system is used. Therefore things like "8.5 x 11" are as strange for everyone here as "A4" is for you in the US. A4 is a standard paper size (8.27" x 11.69"). To get A5, you would fold the A4 page in half, therefore it is 5.83" wide x 8.27" high. Hope this helps.
