Has had quite a few problems with print aging in some situations. They say that they've fixed that. I haven't had the problem yet (I have a 1270 that does quite nicely, except on darker skin tones).

.....1270 that does quite nicely, except on darker skin tones)......Can you describe the problem JJ? Is it the graduation of darker skin tones? How does it perform on the shadow areas of a print?

The reason was that it was available at my local Office Depot, it had the reading SmartMedia capabilities of both the Fuji and the Olympus and it sold for about the same price ($395.00), plus the additional advantage of printing not just 4"X 6" (full size) but 5"X7" and 8"X10" as well. I was quite impressed with the 8"X10" prints, by the way, that my FujiFilm Zoom took. This will make a good "snap-shot" printer, which is all I wanted at this time.
When I get more money I will trade up to a new cumputor that has USB and Firewire ports, a good scanner, and the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P printer which I'll be using for making reproductions of my art work.
How IS it?

One of the PC magazines gave it high marks, next best to the Olympus P-400 (which I was also considering) but cost 1/3 the price and the paper is not nearly as expensive. It made some great 8"X10" which the Olympus P-330 can't do for about the same money. Should work great for snapshots, and fill my needs until I get a new cumputor. Then I'll be looking at Epson printers.
