Lot 18 follow-up

I've bought three wines now.

Uvaggio Il Lupo Nebbiolo. Two bottles seemed cooked or at least over-ripe.

Stepping Stone by Cornerstone. Not a bad Cab. but on the soft, non-complex side.

Michel Schlumberger "Le Sage" Merlot. The first bottle was slightly corked. Poured it out and opened a second. Not bad, but still a bit one dimensional. But I may still be thinking "cork".

So, I'm thinking this is a place to dump wines not doing well in the tasting rooms.

As Mike (and my Wife) says, "Life is too short to drink mediocre wines".

I'll probably try a couple of more but my hopes aren't high.
