A leica or zeiss lens will sound like a Neuman or a Rode and a Nikon will sound like a Audio Technica.Hmmmm, I guess that's why I prefer good vaccum tube stuff and shoot with Leica and Schneider for my large format stuff... It is amazing how there are subtle, but I'd argue important differences in recording gear both light and sound. Well, they're important to the connisours (geeks?) at least...
